Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AddressPill (“the App”), a Shopify application operated by Trinker Media GmbH under the product and project name “PillSoftware”.

By installing, accessing, or using AddressPill, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

Description of the Service

AddressPill provides address validation and related tools for Shopify merchants to help improve shipping accuracy, reduce failed deliveries, and enhance checkout or fulfillment processes.

We may update, improve, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

Eligibility

You may use AddressPill only if:

You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
You use the App in compliance with applicable laws
You are authorized to connect the Shopify store to the App

Shopify Relationship

AddressPill is an independent application and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or officially associated with Shopify.

“Shopify” is a trademark of Shopify.

Merchant Responsibilities

You agree that you are responsible for:

Maintaining accurate store information
Ensuring you have rights to the data processed through the App
Complying with privacy and consumer protection laws
Properly configuring your Shopify store and workflows

You remain solely responsible for your store operations, fulfillment, and customer communications.

Fees and Billing

Certain features of AddressPill may require payment.

Pricing, billing intervals, and subscription terms may be displayed through Shopify’s billing system.

Unless otherwise stated:

Fees are non-refundable
Subscription charges renew automatically until canceled
You may uninstall the App at any time through Shopify

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App unlawfully
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Interfere with the App’s operation
Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the App beyond permitted use
Use the App in a way that harms other merchants or users

We may suspend or terminate access if misuse is detected.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using AddressPill, you acknowledge that certain store and customer data may be processed to provide the service.

Third-Party Services

AddressPill may rely on third-party infrastructure, APIs, or providers.

We are not responsible for outages, interruptions, or failures caused by third-party services.

Availability and Disclaimer

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee:

Continuous uptime
Error-free operation
That address validation will always be accurate
That the App will meet every business requirement

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trinker Media GmbH and PillSoftware shall not be liable for:

Indirect damages
Lost profits
Loss of business
Shipping losses
Data loss
Operational interruptions

Our total liability arising from the use of AddressPill shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App during the previous 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trinker Media GmbH, PillSoftware, and their affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from Shopify.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if:

You violate these Terms
Your use poses security or legal risks
Required by law

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Austria.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
